My thoughts TODAY

Haven't been updating my blog again..^^

Just came back from my Penang trip yesterday. Departed on Friday evening by Tiger Airway (Budget Airline). Its my first time taking budget airline. Infact, my first impression with them is good. Next time can take budget airline liao, no need to spend so much money on international flight for a short distance journey:)

I would like to share a little goal and personal thoughts for my life. Don't know why i have this strong feeling today that i need to do something differnt for my life. I have this strong thought of opening my own little bakery business. I know its not that easy but somehow i need a goal to keep me going. Of coz, before, i does that i need to really need to plan my marketing correctly.

Firstly, i think i need to make sure i mastered all my bakery foundation correctly. once i have the skill, let's all my friend try out and take in comments and from then, thru words of mouth, i can start a mini internet bakery service to all my friends and so on..

Lol, am i really capable in this..I am still pondering and wondering..

Only GOD knows..I know i am definitely very bless under GOD almighty power.

AMEN..

I have append some pictures which i took for you all to view:)

Me & my dear was sitting inside Perth "eye" cable car. It was rather cooling & fast:)

KTV Club / Qing Ming festival

Today, i went to Mandai to pray my daddy for the Qing Ming festival. Wow its was so crowded. I saw police Marshall there controlling the traffic and many cars were all parking along the roadside. I was driving my boyfriend car and trying very hard to get a space to park. Initial the weather was rather hot but eventually the sky turn so dark and shortly its started to rain heavily.

Even though we have umbrella, we still got ourselves wet..Then later we proceed to a Hong Kong cafe in Yishun for lunch with my families member before attending the KTV club organised weekly karaoke session at Party world in Lido orchard.

I got to know some nice friends (Melody, Kue, Jason & Lance) in KTV club. They were all great singers and for sure they are all talented singer:) We really enjoy the session throughout. Kue is the most creative person in the session. He suggested some themes for us to sing. So what we need to do, is to select songs that are related to the theme:) Luckily i still managed to find some song that fits the theme..what are interesting event:)Thanks to Kue and for sure you have a great voice and last but not least, you are very trendy..

Melody is quite a quiet gal but a nice young lady who are still studying rite now doing intermship in a company. She sings well too. I really like her style..Way to go melody.

As for Jason & Lance, wow, they are really rockers..I could see that Jason really loves to sing lady song and definitely love to "biao ge"....Good effort and you are definitely doing great. Practise and im sure you will master well!!! Lance seem to be a great guy & easy to get along person. And for sure, he is someone who really frequent KTV very often. He knew that he have different vocal keys for the song that he selected. Though, he might forgot some of the song which keys he should used:)...

The KTV session ended at 7pm. Then my boyfriend came & fetch me for dinner. As promised, in the morning, i treated him to a great meal in a Japanese restuarant in Lido. The food was quite costly though...the food was ok lar, not say so fantastic lar..hahaha..After dinner, we drove home and started my ironing of clothes again. I started watching this Korean movie called 18 vs 29. Its a very interesting serial drama. I would highly recommend pple who love to watch comedy romantic story to watch this show.

It was so interesting that i slept around 1am....im feeling abit sleepy and for sure i am definitely gog for my foot masssage to take a rest...Will keep you all updated again...

Updates

The week has begun again...Monday...and April is coming...Times flies..the 1st quarter is gonna to pass in another 24 hrs.

On saturday, there was a huge campaign on "Earth day 60 mins"..Not too sure many ppl understand this campaign though words were all spreading so widely. I heard pple saying that the electricity will be shutting down at 8.30pm for an hour. lol..so thats its why i have doubt, do pple really understand this campaign at all..anyhow, i think maybe they should have also spread in many different languages or even more detail to reach out to the pple. This is just my personal thoughts & opinion..

On Sunday, Vince went for a chess competition and as for me, i went to Chinatown to have a few rounds of mahjong session. I have won only $9 and not even enough to cover my taxi fare, what a joke..hahaha..I left the mahjong session around 6plus and vince fetch me and we both have our dinner at one of the coffee shop in Jurong East. I had yong tau fu and chicken wing. As for Vince, he had Black pepper chicken chop. We both had a heavy dinner and proceed back to home.

Once reaching home, i started ironing clothes, changing the bedsheet and e-filing my income tax. I thought to myself that i better do so, before i forgot all abt it:) after that, i surf the facebook and play some games before i proceed to sleep. By the time, im ready to get to sleep. Reflection

Today i like to share some reflection of life to all my followers:) Its for reading pleasure...

TRUST is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity may result in separation.

A telephone operator told me that one day she received a phone call. She answered, "Public Utilities Board." There was silence. She repeated, "PUB." There was still no answer. When she was going to cut off the line, she Heard a lady's voice, "Oh, so this is PUB. Sorry, I got the number from my Husband's pocket but I do not know whose number it is."

Without mutual trust, just imagine what will happen to the couple if the telephone operator answered with just "hello" instead of "PUB".

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

NO POINTING OF FINGERS

A man asked his father-in-law, "Many people praised you for a successful marriage. Could you please share with me your secret?"

The father-in-law answered in a smile, "Never criticize your wife for her shortcomings or when she does something wrong. Always bear in mind that because of her shortcomings and weaknesses, she could not find a better husband than you."

We all look forward to being loved and respected. Many people are afraid of losing face. Generally, when a person makes a mistake, he would look around to find a scapegoat to point the finger at. This is the start of a war. We should always remember that when we point one finger at a person, the other four fingers are pointing at ourselves.

If we forgive the others, others will ignore our mistake too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

CREATING PERFECT RELATIONSHIPS?

A person visited the government matchmaker for marriage, SDU, and requested "I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a suitable one." The SDU officer said, "Your requirements, please." "Oh, good looking, polite, humorous , sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing. Willing to accompany me the whole day at home during my leisure hour, if I don't go out. Telling me interesting stories when I need companion for conversation and be silent when I want to rest." The officer listened carefully and replied, "I understand you need television."

There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband ,because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. The nightmare begins.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

NO OVERPOWERING

Many relationships fail because one party tries to overpower another,or demands too much. People in love tend to think that love will conquer all and their spouses will change the bad habits after marriage. Actually, this is not the case. There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "It is easier to reshape a mountain or a river than a person's character."

It is not easy to change. Thus, having high expectation on changing the spouse character will cause disappointment and unpleasantness.

It would be less painful to change ourselves and lower our expectations..

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

RIGHT SPEECH

There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "A speech will either prosper or ruin a nation." Many relationships break off because of wrong speech. When a couple is too close with each other,we always forget mutual respect and courtesy. We may say anything without considering if it would hurt the other party.

A friend and her millionaire husband visited their construction site. A worker who wore a helmet saw her and shouted,"Hi, Emily! Remember me? We used to date in the secondary school." On the way home, her millionaire husband teased her, "Luckily you married me.Otherwise you will be the wife of a construction worker." She answered ,"You should appreciate that you married me. Otherwise, he will be the millionaire and not you."

Frequently exchanging these remarks plants the seed for a bad relationship. It's like a broken egg - cannot be reversed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

PERSONAL PERCEPTION

Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home,a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey?"Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?" Hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.

Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, "How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman."

The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, "Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you." Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.

It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.

Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

BE PATIENT

This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.

Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy,I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed
suicide.

Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

Just for Humor..Enjoy...

Today, i received a email from my friend Alice...I would like to share the jokes with all of you in here..Enjoy reading:)

In Singapore , the majority of us live in Highly Dangerous Buildings (HDB),
and most people have already got used to Paying and Paying (PAP).

Not only do you have to pay, you Pay Until Bankrupt (PUB). If that ' s not enough,
somebody still Purposely Wants to Dig (PWD) and get more from you. So what
more can you do when you are in the Money Only Environment (MOE) ?

With the current Mad Accounting System (MAS), you are forced to
Pay the Sum Ahead (PSA), which will leave some people
Permanently Owing Some Banks (POSB). And forced to live on the
Loan Techniques Always (LTA) system.

When you fall sick and happen to be admitted to a Money Operating Hospital (MOH).
You might be able to use your Cash Prior to Funeral (CPF) fund.
If you are out of luck, you may meet doctors who Never Use Heart (NUH) to treat you.
And you will be Sure to Give up Hope (SGH).

To help ease the traffic, motorists have to pay Cash On Expressway (COE).
If that doesn ' t help, they can always Eternally Raise Prices (ERP) on the roads.

If you don ' t own a car, you can always make a Mad Rush to the Train (MRT),
OR get squashed in a bus Side By Side (SBS).

Lastly, under all these pressures, there are not many places we can relax.
Not even the good old place we used to go because it has become
So Expensive and Nothing To See Actually (SENTOSA)

A dog name "FAITH"

Today, i happen to receive a email from my friend. I would like to share this wonderful story with all my friends in here. Hope you all enjoy!

Hi All,Something heart warming in this turbulent times. I supposed the message here is to have courage under fire and to believe in whatever we do.A dog named Faith. This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.

His first owner also did not think that he can survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'. By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith'.

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being. Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul'. In life there are always undesirable things. Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the point of view from another direction and see things from another perspective. I hope this message will bring fresh new ways of thinking to everyone and that everyone can appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day that follows. Faith is the continual demonstration of the Strength of Life.

B e l i e v e i n y o u r s e l f. N e v e r l o s e f a i t h.................

A small request: All you are asked to do is share this message with your friends.
